In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2002-05-15 01:17 AM

A ramble of sorts, mingling
with the muse....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
colors at the end of  light
along some horizontal edge
roses and orchids
sprinkle among  the mix--
stars and midnights
moons
blue is just a color
an endless sea,
a painting
sitting in the space of heaven
narrow mist
of the unmistakable
hush
another year
of separation
except for heart matters
crossing fields
of greener grass--somewhere
connecting the avenues
and alleys  --   any soul
could claim under the sky
we run for  time we chose
moving over land
like pen on silk
winter is not a good time to
plant  fragile flowers,
they need tending--
landscaping, how to enter,
how to touch,
bending  lyrics
of the forest
naked temples
swaying
unbroken in clouds
in rivers--in
Octobers intricate
color of strokes
floating softly
landing
to make new--
takes time
I would rather have one breath of his hair,
one kiss of his mouth,
one touch of his hand
than an eternity without it.
This is lovely Lauren. Chris
Narrow mist of unmistakable hush ....
...says it all.
I can imagine what it would sound like if your muse would ramble ...
.... like pen on silk.
Yes it does takes time and some lines expressing these wise words in your poem are simply splendiferous Lauren.
