My father was my inspiration His words of wisdom so very strong I feel he's always with me And in my heart he'll always belong He taught me many things of value How to live in peace and harmony He said I should respect others Especially those less fortunate than me I now embrace this life he gave me Feeling so much richer from his love I feel his presence ever stronger His love reaching me from above 'tho my guiding light sometimes flickers When I'm down and feeling sad The one thing that never falters Is the love I still feel for my Dad I hear his words upon the wire His spirit adorning the sky He left me many things of value And he gave me wings to fly Suetang |

Well Sue, in his passing, he sure gave birth to your poetry didn't he? This was not only a lovely tribute to him, but also shows those that have known you just how he speaks to you as your poetry has perfected by leaps and bounds over this year. Enjoyed this very much. Let's spend less time worrying about when our life is going to end, and more on when it's going to start! |
