Once upon a midnight fair...for Serenity |

Once upon a midnight fair young Goddess ventured into this passionate poetic lair. She found her true Soulmate waiting in here, where an adventure in rhyme danced in three quarter time, and began a love affair meant to last for all time. Two hearts beat as one, embraced Divine Love underneath Moon and Sun. Whereupon the Gods on high with great jealousy did sigh, “No mere mortal shall possess such heavenly bliss! These two shall suffer for that passionate kiss!” So she was spirited away before dawn the next day. Now the mortal man shall forever stand holding broken heart in hand. For there are no more Goddesses left in this land. So let this be a lesson to you, be very careful whom you embrace in here. Remember this tale in mortal fear, remember what poetic passions can do! |

Marsha, your replies are utterly delightful. Big hugs to you, sweet friend! Dear *sigh* thanks for visiting this dream fantasy. Serenity, LOL, I haven't been watching to see who hugs whom. Glad you enjoyed the poem. The warning is for all mortals, so, if mortal ye be, then 'tis for thee. |

No more Goddesses in this land? Better go back out hunting. I love this one. How grave is my condition, for I cannot find the words to say, I need you so. |

Sir Squirrel, glad you could chuckle and enjoy this one. Miss Temptress, sorrry, I forgot about you! You are surely a Goddess. Oh, De Vine one, thank you! I like this Goddess idea too. We are all Goddesses, aren't we? Lyra, so good to have all the Goddesses reply. |
