The water is as clear as crystal
Giving the appearance of being glazed
Each and every time I come here
I am in awe and totally amazed

I walk this beach quite often
A place where I go to collect my thoughts
Most times I come here alone
When I'm feeling out of sorts

I come here mostly to unwind
And make sure my pen is in hand
For the scenery here is so inspiring
In this beautiful part of the land

I absorb the peace and tranquility
As I inhale the warm salty air
I feel relaxed in my own special world
Feeling as though I'm the only one there

A group of seagulls huddle together
Drawing warmth from the golden sand
A stray gull eyes me suspiciously
Before snatching some bread from my hand

The seasons paint many a masterpiece
From still waters to angry seas
But there is no denying the enjoyment
And the neverending pleasure given to me

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Sue, this is sooooooo beautiful, sweet friend, I know just how you feel; I wish I lived near the ocean because every time I go there I feel so very lovesick, it always enchants me so much and I can't help but cry just dreaming maybe someday I can finally have my true love and hold her hand walking down that coast and seeing those seagulls happily soar with her, whereas I feel so homesick living in this desert yearning for the rain to come! (sigh) This is so gorgeous, may you always find delight in the simple things nature offers, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Sue, This is such a beautiful poem, your picture is not there, but I could envision the scenery you present with your words splendidly. Thank you for sharing your poetry with us.

The picture didn't show, but it doesn't matter -- your words painted much better pictures than some graphic could. I was there.

Sue, I think this is one of your best.  I loved the description of your favorite place.
