I looked out the window, ...to see what I could see, Because of pane's reflection, ...I only could see me. I thought perhaps a piece of cloth, ...would clear the window's glass, But still the pane's reflection, ...prevented my look's pass. I put on colored glasses, ...to dampen window's glare, But alas, stayed pane's reflection, ...as only I was there. I had no plan, no course of action, ...to what I would do next, So in my chambers there I sat, ...alone, sad and perplexed. Then I heard a gentle wind, ...call through the window's pane, Open wide and let me in, ...called out the wind's refrain. I was afraid of unknown wind, ...I knew not what to do, So I kept the window closed, ...did not let wind come through. So my reflection ever stays, ...and ever do I see, In the window in the pane, ...me and only me. [This message has been edited by Tim (05-12-2002 12:17 AM).] |

Wow, this is really good, Tim. I'd sure open that window....wide open. "Then I heard a gentle wind, ...call through the window's pane, Open wide and let me in, ...called out the wind's refrain. I was afraid of unknown wind, ...I knew not what to do, So I kept the window closed, ...did not let wind come through" |
