Hello Mom Maybe because you’re ten years past those many days between, bereft of hugs, even if before, distance spanned us its useless now to explain haunting aches from seeing a phone go un-dialed I would finger my way across memories just to hear your “hello, dear” hello Mom Happy Mother’s Day by thought now flown kiss the ache away by voice alone please don’t see the tears that form or this scratch at back of throat because you’re ten years past all that. |

Sunshine, so lovely. It doesn't matter how long it has been, or how much more than children we are.....we miss our Moms. Chris Life is not measured by breaths you take, but by moments that take your breath away. |

Karilea, I ditto my sister/Nightshade..I know the two of us are having a hard time with it nearing Mother's Day....and there are many others full of longing for their moms as well. This is SO well written! ~Hugs~ |

KJ...I know this feeling too well. What a feeling it would be to just be able to pick up the phone and say "Happy Mother's Day" just once more....So that she would know how very much I meant those words.. Thank You for this one... |

 (sigh) This is so sad but beautiful, sweet friend, I can feel your heart breaking here and my thoughts are with you and I hope deep down you know that your mom will always love you so much and will never forget you as she guides you with her light from up above and someday when the time is right you will reunite with her!
