you were virgin in pale skin your fingers took you there by slick sided canoe and made you dance for the dark tree eyes you worshiped the black mushroom and pressed your breasts there til they seeped the musk of many before that were willing sacrifices but you said you would be remembered as the worthy one that bent the trunk of heavy tree strength and that you would wear the scar on your mind skin willingly just for a taste of pain that would make you cry in your secret place where your woman lives ©Dark |

The symbolism and imagery leaves one gasping... and I should think it would leave you smiling. |

(big hugggsssssss) Oh my gosh, this is wonderful, sweet friend, your words always take us through the heart of the briars and reveal passion in all detail wonderfully! (sigh) This is excellent, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! her worth measured not by comparison to the willingness of others rather by the ache of forest's dark desire when her footsteps fall silent. Indigo |

With this, it might be possible that one may see the forest for the trees...that is, if one is allowed to look around... |

This may just be one of my favorite poems I have ever read. It creates wonderful visual and tactile imagery. Beautifully written, and so scandoulous. Bravo. "Why should I live? Why should I do anything? Is there in life any purpose which the inevitable death that awaits me does not undo and destroy?" -Tols |
