you had your giggle shirt on again
the one with no buttons
that lets your tummy show
when you laugh at us together

we sat in the park in the sun
in your new car and had races
with the seat backs
and you said I let you win,

maybe it was your eyes
or how the sun touched your mouth
when you smiled, or maybe
you just seemed to belong that way

looking up at me without words
like it was out first time together
and we were pretending it was dark outside
and that we were children with dreams

Does any button
contain one giggle
better than another?

That, sir, may be the question...

push the buttons
find the laughter

Nice place to go in a new car, or an old one for that matter!!  It makes for a perfect day when there is laughter to share and the sun shines just so.   Wiggle wiggle!

Fun poem!

E lady, I suspect all of the buttons
must be pushed or turned softly
to see which makes the most
laughter..thank you

Bluezz, mmmm wiggles did it, and yes, sunny and warm and even walking is wonderful on those days.  Thanks babe

You let your child out to play with words, and we get a wonder poem.  Loved the innocent feel to this!

I love it with the insides come out, especially when dressed in a giggle shirt.  You have created a smile for me to wear today, this was wonderful, I am keeping it for when I must be reminded to wear that shirt again!
