you had your giggle shirt on again the one with no buttons that lets your tummy show when you laugh at us together we sat in the park in the sun in your new car and had races with the seat backs and you said I let you win, maybe it was your eyes or how the sun touched your mouth when you smiled, or maybe you just seemed to belong that way looking up at me without words like it was out first time together and we were pretending it was dark outside and that we were children with dreams ©Dark |
