Two Acres The fields are wild and full of spring The winds spread life on everything Within each seed they hold a bloom And gently lift it willingly The wildflower joys to blossom soon My eyes already can consume The vision of a petal’s grace To settle on my deepest wound The breeze will blow across my face O’er field of glory to erase Life’s footprints left on hollowed cheek In scars of tear’s most tender trace A patch of land with petals free To brush away the memory Of tears that fell in innocence And all the teardrops yet to be Two acres laced with fragile scents A meadow edged with solid fence Elizabeth Santos |

Elizabeth, They are missing the best when you cease to crest. A patch of land with petals free To brush away the memory Of tears that fell in innocence And all the teardrops yet to be Love it, Love you. Sy |

Yep, we all need great views of nature. Glad you were there to bring it back. |

(sigh) Oh Elizabeth, this is such a beautiful poem with tinges of sadness in it, sweet friend, I hope we can all go outside happily and embrace nature this spring and find the world beyond our backyards to be bursting with sunshine and song! (kiss on cheek) This is a very lovely and uplifting poem, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Elizabeth, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Oh I see it still, and here is the picture along that road, where the estate started just around the bend remember? That field is what dreams of childhood must be made of, for I never was fortunate enough to have such a place on which to build a childhood. Picture perfect it was and so is your poem Liz. ~* ~ Carpe' Diem ~*~ |
