my heart lies still in the darkness except for the beating of you my eyes closed, I sigh deeply as I'm reminded of this love true memories of you and I together flash through my mind how I wish I could either fast forward or rewind time being without you I feel lost and alone I lay here wondering when my heart can go home we both know the reasons of why we can't see each other doesn't change the fact that our love will last forever I look over to your picture, your smile reflecting back at me soon I tell myself you and I will be set free together in one another's arms once more we'll go to our special place, where our hearts and souls soar the sky is blue, but inside my heart it's cloudy and gray I wish you were here to take away this hurt I feel today I'd embrace you and hold you and declare my love that's only for you You'd chase away this feeling of lonliness, fading away this ache of blue our eyes would dance with romance, as candle light would flicker nearby our hearts beating as one, we'd make the sweetest love, no longer would we cry for now though, all we have is our voices, the words we use to convey how we feel soon though our eyes will meet again, and the pain in our hearts will heal "you can't stop |
