A Rainy Morning

the sun and the wind
have greeted the day
now that the thirst-quenching
rain’s gone away

the land is bright
with its sweet relief
soil’s sucked up
what the sky’s released

I think somewhere
there are birds at play
rejoicing in
some pool’s array

‘nd worms are creepin’
atop the lawn
while fishies ford
the stream to spawn

trees all wavin’
the clouds, “Good-bye,”
an’ ol’ Tom’s cattin’
his springtime spy.

(sigh) Oh my gosh, this is sooooooo beautiful, sweet friend, I love spring so so so much, just the vision of happy birds jocundly splashing and playing in the birdbath always delights my day! (kiss on cheek) This is absolutely breathtaking, sweet friend, springs essence fills your heart, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Virginia, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
