There's never a moment that's dull Busy eyes about to pop from my skull There's nothing you can possibly say To shed some light on my dark day No, the customer is not always right But I smile smile smile to be polite I feel like all I am is the public maid Good or bad day, still I'll get paid So you can go ahead and be a fool Payback will arise at your work or school Sometimes, i'm so fed up I want to quit On my feet all day, I long to sit I wish you moms would actually watch your kids Instead of publicly beating them for something they did Then again, grown ups equal large child Little "accidents", big lawsuits filed You've caught me on a really bad day No, you cannot put a pair of socks on layaway What other ignorant questions will you ask? Middle of spring and you want a halloween mask??! That does it, I want to go home Misery loves company but leave me alone!!!!!! |

Joanna~ Lord girl...you took me back to my days or retail and I remembered all too quickly why I hated it! I feel your pain here, and I know some days you just get so fed up with people you want to walk out the door. But hang on, it does get better. For me anyways, there came a point where I just did my job, got paid and left the rest of it all behind...and then a better much better job came along! I hope the same happens for you sweetie, and everyone here is always here for you. Take care. amy "you can't stop |

Have wondered what the workers are thinking sometimes... I know what I think when I watch the parents letting there small children run wild up and down the aisle... They will be the first to sue if there child fall and hurts themselves... Better not say anymore...James |

Rosey Posy darling girl, I’ve missed you this week, this is wonderful darling heart, utterly utterly wonderful. I know how you feel, Krissy is a manager in retail, and she says the things customers ask are sooooooo ridiculous you wonder if they lost their brains on the way into the shop. This is a really good piece of writing darling girl, absolutely excellent and you know I love it utterly utterly utterly Love and warm stuff As always Mushy To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace Luke 2:79 |

hi RosePetal, i have not worked in retail before but i was a waiter once... personally, i don't know what i want...when i was a waiter, i used to frown inwardly at the impossible customers..now, i just long to be part of a team that works together to get a job done...(and gossip about the same customers too) hang in there.. |
