How do you do these shapes? I am impressed. And the words are lovely, like the buterflies.
I love them too.

Magnus~
Thank you ... it was such a delightful trip~

GreenEyes~
I can't believe we missed one another by a lousy calendar week !
We'll have to syncronize next time ~
*hugs*

AliceThruGlass~
I guess we're a little spoiled here in Florida ...
they grace the lawns year-round~
Thank you for the read and reply~

CatalinaMoon~
Usually the poem takes it's own shape .. this one was a challenge to me to see if I could do it in the butterfly shape ... It was easy to write ... but a wench to format so that the PREVIEW screen would let me see the whole thing !  I finally shoved a quarter in it and force-fed it through~

They are fun and can be addicting ...
but I love them~  Glad you like it too~

SmartChick~
Thank you sweetie ... glad you enjoyed it~

DG~
I am so giggling at you~
LOL ... my mother once told me that I was 'almost' a Gale ... and that if she'd known she was going to have three girls (in addition to the boys) she'd have named us - Gale, Windy and Stormy~
Now does THAT crack you up ?
*HUGS* to you gal~ (errr, Gale)

Marge:  this really captures the wonder of a butterfly!  It must have been wonderful to visit them last week-end.  we only have a very few yet.  Just too cold at night I suppose.  But, I'm looking forward to an abundance of them next month.

Now you've got me itching to write a shape poem
You find inspiration wherever you go...I hope someday I have that too!

Your beautiful words & creativity allow me to connect with the same in myself.

Your poem reminds me so much of a day last summer... when a mimosa tree at my Dad's was shimmering with monarchs... living testament to the fact that bright pink and bronze DO go together. *G*

This is beautiful, Marge. *S*

Marge!
I never knew there was a butterfly conservatory but I'm glad there is. Obviously it's a wonderful place to inspire such an artistic poetic presentation from you!
