Oh, what can I do
To ease all the suffering
In this lonely world?

I am just too small
A wee splinter in the log
Only adding pain.

Oh, what can I give
To such a gigantic world
I have so little.

Just a few dollars
And not many possessions
To my tiny name.

I can offer me
However I may assist
Yet, I'm no great thing.

My spirit is strong
But my flesh so very weak
It frustrates the soul.

At odds from the start
Always at war with myself
Will I ever win?

Oh, what can I do
