Sometimes I can feel my mind slipping, inbetween these white walls that confine me. Slipping because it has nowhere else to go. Fear of becoming the link that breaks the chain, hammers away the solidity they relied upon. I will let them down, this one last time. Knight's own armor rusted as his mind broke free, and so I learned how to live too late to start again. I learned too late to live. I can see my life is no longer needed, despite the love from my mother. Despite the concept of an unfelt possibility; who can I protect with my armor rusted shut? Helpless burden can't payback what I've taken. So then I should take for the first time, the only thing that was ever truly mine. [This message has been edited by Daemonyin (04-28-2002 04:25 AM).] |
