Beyond the fire.

"I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!"
NIV Luke 12:49

Is there a site where I could post?
Where hell is cold compare to me
As I dig deep beyond the ghost
Destroy all limits people see.

For truth demands I show all lewd
To rip apart with stark white light
Sick words so crude as I write nude.
Beyond all limits in my fight.

Behaviors God could not look on
Burn evil man's cold eyes with glee
I'll slay the Queen; kill ev'ry pawn
Bishops, Rooks and Knights that be.

Dissolve the King without a mate
As truth shines light on man's mistake
Purge all censors in deadly fate
And call all spirits. Come! Now wake!

Is there a site where I can post
My poetry, too hot to roast.

Beyond the fire.

A slap? No, of course not, Lauren.

That would be abuse thinking. And I'm sure you know how passionately I hate abuse.

When Passions wants to restrict posting to protect innocent children for concerned parents, I consider that comendable.

This is a companion poem to one I wrote in November, 2000, "I'll go there just for you".
Well, after I write poetry to illuminate truth about ev'ry side of every deep dark hidden secret, where do I post it. Just barely scratching the surface has drawn fire and brimstone from all sides, academia, religious fanatics and political fanatics.

And I am banned from posting at some places and have been warned and chastised brutally at others. So I ask where can I post poetry, beyond the fire. Where it can be seen? Just a little poetic question, not aimed specifically at anyone.

I'll go there just for you

By Newell Usher

Some say I sin, when I write my poetry
But from within without a floor, without a ceiling
I'm just calling you to just take God's true healing
Throughout the earth destroying all man's dearth
Through God's perfect love I pass on to thee from God above.

Now God made Satan a perfect Angel in heaven above
Then sent him as the devil to earth to teach us how to love
His job is to divert all the weak and cause much hurt
So we will grow, begin to seek
God's perfect glow, give up that being weak.

Take freedom from our God and use it through our path to sod
And God called me to write his Perfect Love poetry.
And what they say I should not write
Then I know there's a dark, dark night
And so I'll write about it just for you
Bring day to night; take out that misleading air
Just set it right, 'tis only fair
Because God called me this to do, I'll go there just for you.

First: there is a difference between censoring someone (you) and making a place comfortable and safe for a lot of other people. From my point of view (and this is purely personal, not necessarily a reflection of the other moderators here) there are times when it is not only right, but necessary to 'slap' someone (as you suggested to Lauren) for the good of the community. This doesn't mean that you don't allow them the opportunity to become PART of that community... they are always more than welcome to be part if they wish to act like part of it. It is when someone concietedly acts as if they're above the community that we have to address the issue.

It's not about censorship, you see, it's about safety for a family. I'm sure you wouldn't allow someone to visit your house and make your family uncomfortable, would you? No, you'd address what they are doing that makes your family members uncomfortable.

I think that's only fair.

We're doing the same thing.

With your visitor, you give them the opportunity to cease the behaviours that make your family uncomfortable. The only question is - will your visitor do so, or is s/he too interested in the self-importance of their own actions to notice that they're actually harming the members of the family they've come to visit? An important question, i think, because everyone has limits on their frustration, and eventually, your visitor (should they not choose to address the issues in a mature manner) is likely not to feel welcome in your house anymore.

As to the other question you have (both in post and poem): If you truly, honestly want a place where there are no censorship issues, create your own website and preach from there.

Lauren,

Are you aware that our words speak mainly thoughts of our own hearts to our own ears and our utterings are rarely meaningful to others unless invited. As understanding requires knowledge of the speakers heart, not mere word definitions.

And when we are heard, it is usually because both people have common interests, often stemming from either love or common fears.

And so, I write to the wind, for God. And let whoever feels a need for a breeze accept God's cooling in healing.

Thank you for your interest in my poetry.

Christopher,

I do not consider my words as preaching. I detest religious dogma and doctrine and only wish to write poetry about my own passions.

I do believe in freedom of expresson for everyone, not just myself, but recognize that all sites have the right to set their own rules restricting the freedom of others.

And I have a choice to post within them or leave. And at Passions I have always tried to follow the intent of your guidelines, although my understand has at times been different than yours. And a couple times I rushed to post without thinking. I'm sorry for those. And I have never protested your decisions. I am greatful for your kind professionalism. And I do try to respect all Moderators and poets at Passions.

In my poetry I am not suggesting any changes. Just writing about my own passions for freedom, and understanding God, writing with visions of imagination and logic. This is not preaching!

And this poem, "Beyond the fire" is not about Passions, nor was it ever! Period!

Thank you for your comments.

SS~

I dont think that issue, the issue of heart needs to be addressed here, most poets speak from their heart...it is a matter of what is and is not acceptable among the forums, a guide line in which all registered poets for this site must conform to, one you agreed to do..when you signed up..again I must say at a lack of trying not to repeat my self, your intentions may be good, but they must fall within the guidelines.....Speak your heart all you want, just do it in a fashion that is acceptable....thats just my opinion, I speak for only myself here....I think its only fair....

Lauren~

I'm sorry, I misunterstood. I thought your question was simply about me making a "Slap" at Passions. And the answer whic I gave you was a "NO!".

But suddenly I'm accused as if there are many pent-up feelings of guilt being released
as somehow, in ways I really don't understand, it was expected that I would make a "slap" at Passions. That there is reason in someone's mind that I think that I think that I have been treated unfairly, do to my beliefs in free writing.

Nothing is further from the truth. For the truth is I have not been treated unfairly at all! I have been treated wonderfully!

And I believe that I can write about any beliefs I have within Passion guidelines, without a need for any changes at Passions, whatsoever. I simply do not understand the thinking about "slapping". The word, "Slap" is so abusive and inappropriate, to my understanding.

And it seems that I am being accused for a sin I did not even dream thatI was committing. But I guess this is the nature of being a follower of Christ.

I love all of you. You are beautiful. Why do you think I am angry. Because I write a poem with strong emotion? With Passion?

Sorry, Lauren, the whole thing is one big misunderstanding. I accept total responsibility for using too many crazy words. Forgive me.
