Well, quite aside from paying someone to build me a personal server, it's relatively simple to construct one from an older secondary computer. |

So you are saying that all we'd need is a second computer and we'd have a server? Here I thought it was some huge magical machine that had access to the internet! |

It's not designed to take the place of a web host, Sharon (which would invalidate the TOS of your ISP any way). Basically, it's just a really smart hard disk, for backing up files on your main computer and/or sharing files with others across the Internet. It's Napster on steroids. |
