My internet explorer says it is powered by the internet service I had before. I uninstalled that internet service over a year ago. But, the internet explorer still says it is powered by that internet service. How can get my original internet explorer back?

If you're operating on Windows 98 or more recent, you can simply uninstall IE (from the control panel) and then go back in and tell Windows you want to re-install it (again, from the control panel). Otherwise, it's a bit more of a hassle (but not too much.)
