Hazardous Waste Deep as drilling techniques will allow Buried lies material vile beyond belief; Yet even as far as it may be stowed away A simple melody ancient and true, exposes And carries as a river might wear down The resilience of mountains mighty and Bear away their hoarded wealth and waste To a sea of cognition whence they spill Over the lip of the disk that is the world. |

A poem hard as a carbide bit. I like the way you write this curse, in the truest way it can be said. ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

majnu...It is hard to think of what we do without thinking that hurts. This is good writing! I was once a student at Berkeley. |

Thank you for this write. Yep, we've made ourselves a nasty bed, and now we spend our time and money looking for another planet to foul. Isn't that what the space program is really all about? |

ps, thanks for the read mr. piper, a curse huh? never thought of it that way - thanks. pp, glad you liked it martie, GO BEARS!!! midnitesun, yes we have hurt our home, but the scientists in the space program are literally seeing stars. WE're not about corporate interest, we are a bunch of little kids who looked at the sky and wondered now grown up - we still see the beauty. -majnu |
