Zephyr

You are different
from what one is used to
keeping house below time and a thistle
in your wild shoes over wild roots
where love has fallen
over wounded ground.

You are of summer
mature, warm
rarer than wealth in this age
of the mad-man of hatred and greed.

You are of none of these

but an architect of peace
a cathedral of dreams

and like a gentle breeze
you came to me down under the
bend of fall
weaving your life around mine
binding poems into my hair

This is just beautiful... I can't say much more than that.  Very serene and peaceful.  Truly a work of art worthy of a place in Reflections.  I would vote but, you didn't check the box that lets people vote so I'm going to wait for you to come back and add that... you can do it in the edit screen.  Hurry up now, don't keep us waiting.

I am SO glad you picked this as one to enter for the book, I have read it a couple of times before as I have it printed into a book of others work from Passions and I appreciate your the art of your craft so much on this one, and it certainly gets my vote.

Dark Angel,
No time to read thirty-three replies, so I'll just say ditto, and add that though I'm not much for un-structured verse, I found this very appealing.

Pretty and tough at the same time, like the season(s) you describe, and the lover(s) kept therein.

you know...I have read this several time..and keep coming back to it from time to time... each read as good as the first..and each time shaking me head... wondering if I am ever going to grow up and write like this..

it is good... very good... and I have to say so again...
