I look upon your words
Trying to pretend, to imagine their voice.
Enchanted by each letter,
Romanced by each word.
I fall in love with each phrase.

They caress my rugged heart
And make love to my tender mind.
From your pen, sweetness speaks
And whispers myself that love exists.

I picture the soft gentleness of your lips
Which move to fit together
Each line,
Before it shines in print.

You seem to speak,
To me alone.
My every feeling,
My every thought, mapped out upon
Your page.

The yeilding grasp which surrounds
Your ballpoint
Leaves me in a dreamy state.
Oh to be the instrument that speaks
For you,
The sweetness of your soul.

Caress my lips against your soul
And I will be scrivner
To each word that brings it hapiness
Through life everlasting.

This is by far my favorite of your poems!!! Your talent is amazing!!! This one deeply touched my heart. I have to write it down...My printer doesn't work! lol.

Oh Allie, this is sooooooo gorgeous, sweet friend, you are always in the ballpark when it comes to true romantic poetry, they say all the romantics are long gone, where does that put your chivalry then?
