Beyond the point of no return An irretrievable ball that was dropped Down on your knees agonizing death Foolishness betrayed wisdom outstretched Cymbals banging against the dropping of flesh Sentenced to the deathening noise Simply without the wisdom of thought Intuition knew of the knowledge of heart As earth shook your soul Climbing Jacob's ladder at the brink of it all While he whispered to you optimistic garble As you knew standing at the crossroad Looking for the task of this age Heartpounding at the truth of the end Even though you felt the vulnerable touch You layed the slave of this troubled way Wrong road taken is intense you can see Looking back over your shoulder As rain floods your face Terribly memorizing those past days Gone "Somewhere, somehow, it should be possible to touch someone and never let go again. To hold someone, not for a moment but forever." Unknown [This message has been edited by Justbleu (02-24-2003 08:41 PM).] |
