Slothful Morning Waking up at sunrise, Yearning for tea scent, I lay my head Beside my infancy toys. Slothfully I breathe in Then exhale in exhaustion- Today I'm trapped sleepily Within my own bed. ©Feb 23, 2003 Here were the rules: 1. Only 4 words per line, 2. Has to be at LEAST 8 lines. 3. Cant use letters: A, Z, D, and C. 4. Cant use words: Dead, The, Cant, and See. 5. Must not be funny, and must make sense. Did I do it right? ~Every girl has a dream within. Well I sure liked it, but I think you used the letters you were not supposed to but you sure did a great poem just the same. |
