Our Thoughts Keep Us Warm

This morning the sun is shining bright
with its beauty and rays of light
Will not be long before the chill of air
turns into warmth beyond compare

Though chilled am I on this fine day
to stay warm, I'll surely find a way
Thoughts of you will always keep me warm
with your loving ways and all your charm

The day will come soon, we know is true
you with me and me with you
Days when we never again will part
we know this, for we feel it in our hearts

Through warmth of day or chill of night
our dreams are not beyond our sight
With hearts as close as are yours and mine
the dreams we have are forever divine

Giving us warmth when cold we may be
are thoughts we have together, you and me
We know our dreams will soon come true
forever will be, you with me and me with you

What a wonderful piece on love and hope to read on a Sunday afternoon. Love can sometimes make time move faster--when it's very strong.

(big hugggssssss) Oh Ethel, this is so beautiful, sweet friend, this made me cry as so many of your love poems do because I used to think of my Joanna all the time and she made me feel warm inside and now since I lost her it is so difficult to stay warm but I remember the feeling and miss it so much! (sigh) May you and your love forever stay warm with true loves sun, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ethel, thank you for sharing!
