Ok...this is my 2cd real poem...and you gotta remember, I'm only 13 ok? So anyway, I tried real hard, and I hope you like it. Sweet Dreams The vast stars fill the void of the night. The eerie moonlight casts shadows on the dewed grass. And blissfully I walk. My partner- hand in hand. The brook flows quickly and murmurs to us. An enchanting voice it has. We draw near and gaze into the shallow creek. I turn to my lover and inquire; "Doth my reflection bring joy to thy sight?" Returning my gaze he replies; "Yes, your reflection brings great joy to my sight. But what I see is not skin and hair. What I see is your heart. And it is beautiful beyond imagine and compare." I fall into his arms and he holds me tight. Skin to skin. Heart to heart. I feel his chest rise and fall. Listen to his breath- in and out. Like gripping the very essence of life. He holds me in his arms, tightly and securely, not wanting to let go. Holding me. Loving me. I gently place my head under his chin. Then all is silent. The brook runs quiet. The stars fade away. Swiftly the dawn arrives and I awaken from my subconcious mind- wishing reality was as sweet. |

Passion - nice job - nice imagery reads like prose - is beautiful If I had thse stalents at your age I would be writing like Shakespeare today Keep it up . . . xxoo |
