Surely
you would know
that i look at your face
and become unsure
of what to do
of this being drawn toward you

everyone said it was wrong
our actions both tell the story
of feeling right
so torn between heaven and earth
so bitter about the taste of your words

so obscure this reality
we are just a dream of ourselves
we are so insignificant
in this world
so jump into this sea of madness
head first

i havent given you a reason not to
i didn't let the circumstances stop me
but who's saying they will
who's saying this will end

certainly not our hearts
