She

She was
at first timid,
in time, living life, she
matured comfortably within,
accepting of what she could, could not do
always managing one more mile
her smile glowing lightly
for that was who
she was

A hug for both of you! This was delightful. I am sure that she will love what you have written---and the fact that you would honor her in this manner!

'She' sounds like a nice lady, a nice (horrible word) piece.

Sunshine Lady,

I have not be with you and your great poets for long.
But I have read of dear Ethel, her poems are song.
For you see, I experienced what she has gone through.
And I know she will appreciate your ode to her, too.

My words here are simple, yes, but you too have inspired me. Thank you.
