I look at words now and see the vanity of immortality. To think a mere word will remain on a page when even I must go to the wind. The bottom of the ocean seems a proper resting place for words. They might lie upon the surface of the water and slowly become the basin. I once thought that words could create such a flame as to burn a page out of the book. I went digging for them in a place which once took care of words. I found the silence suitable but a sense of belonging was missing. I felt perhaps someday I would become a word and go to this place. One gets old, wanders and suddenly becoming a part is not as important as trying to be free from the sentence and the page. Being the most valuable word and belonging to the most significant work would still create an urgency to be recognized and dependency on a reader. The word am can be I. I will be morning. |

Thanks Andrew. Everyone has told me to change the format so I guess it is unanimous. |
