Tick Goes the sound of the clock Tock The time remains the same Tick Yet we, ourselvs, have moved foward Tock But the time is still the same Tick We have all grwon Tock We have all moved on Tick We have moved from child to adult Tock With responsabilities Tick Families which some of us now have Tock Which used to be an innocent game Tick And With responsabilities comes deaths that have have grown to know about. Tock Which we used to think didnt happen Tick But we have grown to realise That It's another stepping stone in life Tock It's the final chapter that we have on this earth Tick Tock Tick Tock..... The sound of a clock which tells the time but has a meaning a lot doesnt know about.... [This message has been edited by Aya (04-11-2003 04:06 AM).] |

Alicia, I really like this. It's so true....time and the tick-tock of it is going to go on forever. I like the way you write. I really like your poem that is untitled about the child inside and it brought some thoughts to my mind. So, I wrote a little poem about the child within all of us. I haven't posted it yet. I hope that you like it. Hugs, Ethel |

The clock is ticking. Don’t even try to stop it. Do that, and you die. *** that is something I wrote recently, not knowing what to do with it...at the time. Tick tock.... enjoyed the timely pondering of this post |
