This rock skips farther than them all, teasing the surface, cascading to an eventual sinking. Swallowed up. Hidden without the season of glory, but until then, satisfying the water with the attention of the crowd. They'll stare with baited breath; they watch the rock, and the person that threw it; back to forth -- contemplating the importance; event or cause... Which is heaviest? But it's themselves in their awe. Until the rock stops to sink, and rest along the bottom next to everyone else's dreams. machiner [This message has been edited by machiner (04-11-2003 03:33 PM).] |

Thank you for reading. Boy, so many memories of Turner's pond. Once, I skipped a rock 37 times...and crazy glued my fingers together just to see if it worked! machiner |
