I Will Know When I meet him, I will know, thoughts will jumble and rearrange. There'll be no sweeping off my feet, just chemistry that we'll exchange. I'll free the binds that tie me here. I'll bathe in words that lips will tell. I'll lose the loneliness of one and rest my love, in arms to dwell. The sun will shine on darkest days. The moon will rise to light my nights. I will know him, when we meet. My heart will dress him in my writes. A poet's needs will draw him near, and I will paint him in my word. He will never need to dream for I'll be here, commitment heard. I will know him, temptation not. He will give his truth to me. I will know him, when we meet no longer needing to dream of he. M *Ethel inspired "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |
