Titillate

I never get tired of writing of me
Weather reality or fantasy
It is a subject I’m well aware
For I am the air in charge d’affaires

I’ve tried to mend my ways it’s true
Others, I really don’t have a clue.
When talking I’m always surprised
And rarely find a compromise.

It seems the world revolves around me
Take me out and there’s nothing you see
So I’m stuck with the motto all for one
For that’s what it is, when all is done.

And though that makes for an alien world
It’s the only one I can unfurl.
And if that seems a very hard line
Then I’m sure I’ll change when I am divine.

It is but a little humor I spread
It’s either that or a knoxious spread.

Forget about that morning sun ...
forget the moon when day is done.
Pay no mind to the ocean tides ...
it's all an illusion, Mother Nature lied.

The world evolves round my wants and needs
it cant wait to emulate the glory of my deeds.
The cornerstone of the building, without me it will fall.
everyone sits at home just waiting for my call.

What else could there possibly be ...
more important than me and my poetry?

SO...did I get the gist of your jest?
Did I catch the glib of your jab?
Did I write the wit of your wile?
Well, hopefully I made you smile.
For your clever rhymes did that for me ...
thats why each day I inhale your poetry.

I never get tired of reading you ...
theres nothing else I'd rather do.

JM,
You have planted a seed
In the shale of this whale
And it grew like a weed
To the tip of its tale. LOL

Seymour, sometimes I feel that way, but we really know ourselves better than we know anyone else, don't we?

I look forward every day to your words of wisdom. Even in your humorous poems, there is always a lesson to be learned.

Thank you for being  YOU,  friend.

Heart Hugs to you,
Ethel

(smiles) Yay! And I think that is what poetry should do; titillate ones senses and have you dancing one way or another! (big hugggsssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, no matter how alien it feels, we are always loving what poetry offers, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Seymour - never stop writing about yourself. For we might find abit of ourselves in your words as well. As for knoxious spread, let's try cinnamon spread on toast instead !
