Lacey’s Shadow (her perspective)

“So comfortable” she whispered
A part of her wanted to stay with Travis
To forever feel the comfort of safety
To know the comfort of being known

She is so scared of all the unanswered
So scared of the pain she knows she could cause
Knowing the leach of past wounds
Could taint the future

She feels the passion with his lips
And returns with her own
Growing terrified
That his touch could mean so much

She knows she is running
From what could be more
Just as she knows time and distance interfere
Please forgive me, dear Travis

I do need to cry this time

(smiling)... well done... someone writes Lacey and I have to read.... after all... I really don't write her but write Travis and how he relates to Iambe, Jake, Lacey, etc.

Hope to see more... I enjoyed the change in perspective as it seems I can't write from hers.... only his.

bravo! again...
