Busy busy day
Pausing to write in mid-flight,
Then I’m on my way

What poetry can I give you?
Perhaps a hasty Haiku?

Or maybe a Tanka’s good
If the words go as they should.

But then to write with words that speak clearer,
Sculpt them in iambic pentameter,
No that will not do
My moments too few
To go dum dee dum dee dum dee all day;

So I’ll do Haiku,
To send simple thoughts your way,
Or have I already?
