                   I swear it was a case of insanity
                   pure mind meltdown
                   in that fateful day
                   the day I ate your little dog

                   I had been starving
                   for days
                    til finally the hunger did
                    overtake me

                   But when I went to fridge
                   oh my god
                   there was no food

                   I looked everywhere
                   under the couch
                   in my nasty sock collection
                   but food
                   no where to be found

                   I step outside to see your pooodle
                   like the cartoon hungry fools
                   strangely appetizing

                   I lured it in with old pizza
                   then baked it at 450
                   for two hours
                   basting in mommas secret
                   blend
                   of 2 herbs and spices

                   I can't believe you couldn't smell
                   pugent aroma
                   of chicken fried dog
                   as its fumes
                   rushed through the air
                   like a mack truck

                   I am sorry dear dog
                   but for that moment
                   barbequed poodle really
                   hit the spot

& very funny
so many deep dark poems
