When Hearts Travelled Afar

You used to cheer my day
In friendly online meetings
With notes from far away
To share loving greetings

When hearts travelled afar
To rise above and beyond
We shared many journeys
Promised friendship bond

In wanting nothing to fade
Often I'll bring you to mind
I wander through memory
There you are easy to find

Being there when needed
I will remain loyal and true
I attempt to write each day
Forever in thoughts of you

Words that I want to share
Still hoping will transcend
My true feelings portrayed
Sincerely I remain a friend

Thanks Maureen, yes the reality of touch and actually gazing their eyes .... ohh well I have the best of both worlds and still fantascise
