slipping between the waves,
feigning the pretense
of a salty shell,
hiding beyond the silent pauses
until the clap of thunder
first becomes known,

voice quiet for now,within the shadows,
waiting to sing again,
she rides through
both storm and calm,
time and time again,

bouncing back most days,
landing on butterfly feet,
only to retreat again
into withered foam........
her choice of disguise,

as she sometimes oscillates,
between the comfort of the dark and deep,
only to come up and walk on water again,
at the surface gate,

in an ocean of fish
she longs to grace the mermaid's glittering throne,
flaxen hair in a crown of lavish shells
but battles upstream, her pisces self,
and surrenders most times
to the moontides
that color her emotional ways

hmmmm ..... yes I recognize the Pisces girl ... but she dances beautifully on the waves, doesn't she? And you know that you don't have to worry, she always surfaces even though she explores the darkest depths of the ocean of life.

Reminds me of someone here, but I don't think she's Pieces. Matters not, this is simply wonderful.
