What doesn't kill you
cripples you
emphasizes every pain
magnifies the solitude
and ampliphies the strain

What doesn't break you
leaks inside
pollutes you from the heart
absolves you of emotions
so the melancholy starts

What doesn't kill you
makes you sore
leaves you bleeding and exposed
reveals your inner weaknesses
and strips away your clothes

What dosn't end you
makes you wait
lets you rot a little more
curse the clock another time
sinking further to the floor

What doesn't heal you
makes you sick
knocks you to your knees
doubled-over at the waist
and on the verge of vomitting

What doesn't kill you
doesn't kill you
sustains your misery longer
drags you deeper into hell
but doesn't make you stronger

"I don't need to scream for you to deem me aggravation."

I would like to meet the person who thought up the stupid phrase "what ever doesn't kill you will make you stronger" and show them the error of their thoughts. Very well done!

excellent take on the cliche "what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger"...geez, that's one of my favourite things to say when i want to demonstrate my self-deprecating sense of humour

i like these lines...felt that but never described that

absolves you of emotions
so the melancholy starts

Another amazing write here:

What doesn't kill you
makes you sore
leaves you bleeding and exposed
reveals your inner weaknesses
and strips away your clothes

Sadly - yes - but I will say that somehow - along this crazy path - the becoming stronger part becomes a choice - been there - still there - loved this . . . xxoo

This is severely intense... It is also a very good write.

i definately liked it and could relate, i believed in that phrase for a long time, but the more i think about it, it doesn't seem to make me stronger, only more cynical and jaded and reluctant to expose myself to those things again, so i definately hear you and i really like what you did with this, thanks for sharing.
