and looks for signs,

in stars above

the resonate,
in songs
among the chimes of wind,

i sit and wait,
and take it in,
as i've become her rock
through fate,
the shelter in her storms within,

she knows by now
she's in my heart,
in friendship
and in common bond,
of 2 who wear the ball and chain,
finding freedom's flight,
in paths that reach and touch
some times,

as i've become the earth
to her,
and she's become
my sky,

and as for now,
we fill the space
with heart and soul
and warm embrace,
between each other's
deepest void
