A rose so red and so fragrant
captures your senses
as you move through
this colourful lush garden.

So many flowers in bloom
but this one is alone
standing tall and strong
yet so delicate and peaceful.

It reminds me of you
so beautiful and graceful
shy but determined
full of love and compassion.

A rose so radiant
attracting warmth and sunlight
growing in beauty
with every passing day.

You are a rose
in this garden I call life
to be cherished and loved
for bringing me joy and happiness.

I remember the first time I sent flowers to my father - he had never received roses from someone else before...

Roses ARE meant to be shared, aren't they?
