I recall that morning.
The sun fell like December in the snow.
How you go.

You didn't leave a letter,
just your voice commanding one last No.
How we grow.

I thought that we were feeling,
that we were revealing
a lingering,
a growing touch.
I was no more
than your crutch.

We had walked a mile
and you left me on the black ice road,
feeling old.

I watched the broken trees.
I wrote this poetry.
So.
Now you know.

Stella was a diver and she was always down.

such a tone of resignation.

It breaks my heart into a few more pieces.

sigh...

I am only wondering if they ever REALLY know.

Hugs.

Walking on black ice, alone.
How very, very sad.

feeling old.

This is one of the more discriptive lines I've seen on here. Absolutely outstanding job.
