When I think of how fate
brought us together,
I think of ships passing in the night,
almost becoming one space.
That's how I see us, my dear friend.
We are circling round, coming near;
yet not near enough to touch,
to meet. It is not that
we do not share a love. The love
we share is the strong bond
of friendship. So, though
we may never quite touch lives,
we are sailing upon the same sea.
We are reaching for the same destiny.
If in this life, a friend is all
that you will ever be
that will be enough to last
until we meet one day in...
the destination that only God can see.

(smiles) Oh Ivy, this is lovely, sweet friend, I believe in this with all my heart, no one can ever know entirely of another person but just the thought of having some things in common and sailing together hand in hand over the sea of life is beautiful!
