standing on a shadow's lace

Flight

today I released
three doves
for me
they collectively are
yesterday, today
and tomorrow
yesterday
I named regret
today answers
to choices
tomorrow flies wings
of possibilities
easily they
pulled away
from my fingers
to air
one by one
they glide
regret flew
behind me
choices flew to
tree above waiting
possibilities soared
high and fast
to the very breath
of the sun
till all I could see
was a hope
on wing
