Words come easier When absence grows nearer No certainty No promises Only the present is now Our beds have been shared With strangers But especially you How can I explain? I can't give proof of anything More than this physical match We stumble in this interminable night Perchance encounter joy "Soon" you hope But I know there are a thousand lives to live Afraid to say "wait" Don't question my will It will happen when wrong Becomes right When then Becomes now And if the passion fades I'll remember. |
