Everything, but everything I have chosen for repast must be scraped from porcelain by silver spoon before I dance. Talks of gifts and gifts of chat, fanning face with lacey weave is just a sieve to hide the holes, as the Irish define "net." Structure of some nothingness-- lines perspect, deceivingly. The tree of life is branches spread as sky defines the all of me. It took a dance of gravity-- to make me swear what I'd disowned. The brittle that composes bone-- it is the top that bends in wind-- it could not hold the weight of need-- I felt the pounding on my skull. If it were but just the fall I think I could survive intact. It was the branches scratching me and my head upon impact of every branch that gave concede, allowing me my screech for stars the very ones assisting reach sustained upon me fatal flaw. I bled to death, there in the roots. [This message has been edited by serenity blaze (03-25-2003 05:17 AM).] |

smile...and blushing thank you's-- this was inspired by a quote from the Introduction to "Late Antiquity--A GUIDE TO THE POSTCLASSICAL WORLD": "But an Irishman's definition of a net remains true: it is 'a lot of holes tied together with string.'" For some reason? I really liked that. thanks again. |

I knew this one would be special from the title... and wasn't at all disappointed. *S* Your works have the pull of gravity... and sometimes falling into them hurts... but we willingly take the leap. *S* |
