Things I never got to say
I’m sorry for all the things I never got to say
Simple words that strike to hurt and never go away.
Voices rise with razor tongue it grows to bitter fights
Till in the end all that’s left is sobbing endless nights.
Silence grasps my bleeding wounds entwined  in its hate
Then rise to meet your seeking eyes for answers to our  fate.
If only I had seen the pain I caused  you before
These never ending words of  war  could have been no more.

A wonderful beginning to an awful ending. Recognizing pain we've caused to others an important part of making amends and asking for forgiveness.

Though not easy. Remorse sometimes hurts as badly as those we hurt. Been on both sides and I know that is true for me.

regards2you, I think everyone from time to time has said things we regreted later. I suppose we learn from our mistakes and hope to grow as a better person, and try not to make those same mistakes again. Thank you for your reply.
