Picture by Alan Ayers * * * * I come here to be near you For it's as close as I can be I bring flowers from my garden There is no one here but me In this place of quiet contentment The birds sing the sweetest song As I struggle with my feelings Still not believing you are gone I only stay here for a while Maybe a moment or two As I'm lost in my thoughts Whilst remembering you I turn and walk away Trying not to shed a tear An invisible arm surrounds me And I feel your presence near I am in motion |

It's all about letting ourelves feel, even when it becomes too much. And in doing so, we hold onto the thoughts that keep us close in spirit. Nicely done Sue~ |
