The world grows cold An evidentiary scar hallows crevasse and canyon Of the body and the soul The mind grows cluttered Under cloud covers thick and damp Our eyes become useless The wells run dry In dust to blow upon the winds of despair Our lips become cracked and thirsty The spirit will rise To bathe the desert of us full Our hearts beat resilient and strong The glow is eternal To warm the world, and heal the wound Our selves to thrive and flourish, fed fat on love The world turns, on and on Rising and falling to the tune of the wheel Our hands join together, as one unbroken chain Copyright Kkh 3/20/03 With love to Lyra...
