I watched my daughter's eyes today The truth they held I noticed how old they had become Watching her world go past And the visions we have presented her We talked of things better she had not known The sadness of war Tears and pain Buried beneath tons of stone And as I heard her thoughts of life Her words became a beacon of hope Guiding her through the sea of fear And I had to agree and try not to laugh When she felt the need to observe Perhaps those to whom Evil has called Could use a hug from Mommy A glass of milk and a cookie And a Dream Catcher To chase their sadness away Someone once said, "out of the mouth of Babes..." ~You might say I'm a Dreamer, but I'm not the only one... |

Got my vote. If only to find in these lines of wisdom a way to look with child-like eyes for just a little while. Wonderful. |

(big huggggsssssss) Oh Bradly, it is so very heartaching when our children discover the sad truth in our world right now, it is so hard to either break it to them or they find out on their own and my heart prays they can hang on with innocence and embrace joy through difficult times! (sad sigh) This is very compassionately written, dearest friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Bradly, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |

Hello Bradly I could relate to this so very well as I have a 10 year old daughter and although she doesn't say much about the current world events I often wonder what she is thinking. I find it difficult to hide my own fear but I know I must for her sake. Your words were very moving and very real. Take care.......Sue I am in motion |

Within their eyes lies hope for the future rather than a future of hopeless lies... Thank you for sharing. You have my vote and hope that her future will retain her hope... -MVS You CAN make a difference: |

Brad - I often look into the eyes of my three year old and feel the same - is this world rushing him along? Old eyes - perfect catch - yep a keeper . . . xxoo |

Thank you all for your kind words... It's amazing how children can teach adults what life is all about... and they have no conscious idea at all... ~You might say I'm a Dreamer, but I'm not the only one... |

Definitly has my vote. No hesitation. This is sadly beautiful ~hugs~ I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly dreaming I am a man. |

Yes, please let the children play, and give each a dreamcatcher full of hope. |

We can always learn from a child. Some grownups don't think about a thing like war affecting a child. Wonderful write. |

Incredible, beautiful write. I truly loved this poem. Seeing the world through a child's eyes sometimes brings home the reality of what adults are missing everyday of their lives. Pascal |

I cannot begin to thank everyone here indivisually for your kind words, so please accept a mass thank you, as inadequate as it is. You all have my gratitude. Imagine all the People living life in peace... |
