Dearest heart has thou not been broken a thousand times by the outrageous arrows of lost love? How then do you rise like the Phoenix from ashes of despair ? To live again and perchance die again Oh if for only the momentary chance of eternal bliss thus makes all men blind in her humbling presence With but a kiss she signs the deed to my fool heart to will as she please As I, lion of men melt with another sweet kiss from the divine creature that would be my queen |

Even though "....otrageous arrows of lost love" really hurt, every new chance to melt again is joyously taken... To love is to risk. Beautiful write. Love, Margherita |

Your poetry not only inspires me, but it interests me to hear the male perspective. So often portrayed as aloof... Far from it. Very well done. TD |
